Things are great!!

Well, things are really great around the Ranch. I have taken up bicycling with Tatertot along for the ride. She loves riding with her mommy, 'It's fun!' she says. She loves to hear the birds chirping except she says they are crying! How cute is that? Mr. Beans is gearing up for preschool. We got the papers to fill out last week and he has open house the last weekend of August. He will get to meet his teacher and teacher aide and all the students that will be in his class. He already knows one girl, she's a good friend of his. We see her every week at the library for storytime.
Besides his continued love for Thomas and all trains, he is now very interested in school buses. He loves to see the bus go by after school dropping off the kids down the road. I keep telling him he will not be riding the bus to preschool but he loves them anyway.
Tatertot is finally sleeping fairly well through the night. She sleeps in her own crib and is growing up so fast it is unbelievable. She is very interested in the potty and I believe that she will be potty trained by the end of the summer.
I 've been working out in our yard trying to make it look a little more presentable. This is a bit hard to do with limited time and funds. The damn gas prices continue to go up making it even more expensive to mow. We have just under 2 acres of land to mow and it takes forever to do.
I am looking forward to this summer and all that it holds for us and the kids. I am hoping for lots of outdoor activities and lots of swimming in the pool.
I'm trying to get Fireball to get out and ride his bike with us. I went as far as cleaning up his two bikes for him to take his pick of which one he wants to ride. We'll see how well this goes in the next few days.
Cheers!

What's goin' on

We have been so busy lately. I had a bachelorette party and got to stay out with my girlfriends until 3 in the morning. Sooo Much Fun!!! We had the wedding and reception this past weekend and had a good time, too. Mother's day is coming up and so is my mom and father-in-laws' birthdays are coming up too. So much is goin' on.
I think we are having a Mother's Day lunch here at our house this year. That should be less stressful than when we had Christmas dinner here.
Mr. Beans is doing great. Completely potty trained, he started wearing underwear to bed all night long and has not had any bed wetting. I am so proud of him. He is always telling us that he wants to go to school, which he will be starting this fall. He has a new favorite craft: he has discovered the joy of painting with watercolors. The first day he made enough pictures to wallpaper the entire kitchen.
Tatertot is such the little lady. She likes to pick out her own clothes and is infatuated with her hot pink crocs (they are her favorite shoes to wear, even if they don't match her outfit). She is counting to 10 on her own and loves to draw. She is very curious about the world around her and is constantly asking where her daddy is. She has quiet the vocabulary for a 20 month old.
We continue to go to the library every Thursday for story time and have a great time when we are there.
Fireball and I are finally getting to go out and have time with just the 2 of us. We enjoyed the reception and are planning on going out of town for the night tomorrow for supper and Spiderman 3. It's so nice to be able to get out and that the kids now can be left with a sitter for most of the night or all night long at our house with a sitter.
Here's to gettin' out.
